Studies have shown that the addition of a very small amount of 0.1% potassium perfluorobutane sulfonate can significantly improve the flame retardant grade and oxygen index of PC. The flame retardant properties of the material reach UL94V-0 and can prevent droplets from dripping.
The flame retardant mechanism is: the flame retardant emits sulfur trioxide under the action of heat and flame to cause the PC to expand and rapidly decompose to form a carbon layer, thereby preventing heat and oxygen from diffusing into the material.
